The short answer
Business email works through your domain, so you can run professional mailboxes in any African country. Use your country domain (.ng, .com.gh, .co.ug, .co.tz, .rw, .co.za) or a .com, add it to TuskMail from any registrar, and pay by card or M-Pesa. Plans start at KES 2,470 a year for 2 mailboxes, with a 7 days free trial on Starter.
Can I use Kenyan-built business email in other African countries?
Yes. Email works through DNS records on your domain, not through your location. TuskMail is built in Nairobi but works for any domain, from any registrar, in any country. Plans are billed in Kenyan shillings, M-Pesa is available for Kenyan customers, and card payment works from elsewhere.
Which domain endings do businesses use in each country?
Some country registries have their own registration rules, so check what your registrar needs. A plain .com avoids most of that and works the same for email.
| Country | Common business domains |
|---|---|
| Nigeria | .com.ng, .ng, .com |
| Ghana | .com.gh, .gh, .com |
| Uganda | .co.ug, .ug, .com |
| Tanzania | .co.tz, .tz, .com |
| Rwanda | .rw, .co.rw, .com |
| Ethiopia | .com.et, .et, .com |
| South Africa | .co.za, .com |

What about currency and payment?
Global suites bill in US dollars, which moves with your local currency. TuskMail bills in KES, with M-Pesa for Kenyan customers and card payment from anywhere. Choose yearly billing for the lowest rate: KES 53 to KES 103 per mailbox a month, and try Starter free for 7 days first.
